Today is one of my exciting yet depressing moments of my life... ...

We arrived at Xenbar, 9am this morning for make-up. Our teacher kindly helped us do our make-up and I had an ever-long eyelash at that one point. After that we did our run throughs and changed into our costumes.

We said our "last" goodbyes before we set off for the "big thing", the pulse hh competition. I felt as if I was not going to see the teacher anymore. Then felt so sad that she would not be with us to support us.

Off we went to our com location and waited for our turn to performed. The competitors comprises of 99% of ... ... ahem (some should know). Terrence was there to shoot every dance item. Hopefully those videos come to good use for our future hip hop com.

After seeing the other 16 teams competing in the same segment as us, we actually felt quite depressed as the dancers are indeed very strong competitors and their moves were big and hoppish.

The final moments came and we did not get in after the results were announced... I actually felt like bursting out in tears but I kept them in. We practised so much for this competition and hope that we could at least get into the finals at Ngee Ann City.

Anyway this is an experience we can learn and kick off our journey of dance to better heights...

Hey Troops...

I'm back after like don't know how many days of not blogging... At first I'm quite reluctant to update but after Potato's request, I shall be kind and post one today... hehe

I would like to start off with yesterday's happenings. We had the NHH closure brought forward to that day instead of today due to the Sec 4's science practical. It kicked off with a mass dance done up by our student councils. YZ was exceptionally excited, too bad I am not near her to see her interesting expressions when P. danced.

Then today, we had joint lessons together and I helped yz take pics of P. I wonder if she is having an infatuation or she merely just want pure fun... a little confused here... need someone to tell me...

As usual, we went down to Xenbar which we did for the pass days for about a week already... my legs are sore from the constant bending and jumping and hopping and stretching done everyday. Better do more warm-ups next time we start our dance especially since the competition is drawing near, all the more should we take care of our body, whether is it our health our aches...

However, our practises paid off, our Yanqing saw our dance today and said it was quite well done and she seems happy with it when we disclosed our group name ~~ Xenbeat (it has a Xen in front.. just like Xenbar).

Tomorrow she will not be with us when we do our 7.15pm performance, so I think we are supposed to play the music ourselves and dance while ppl there will view them.

Today is one of which we are filled with activities..

Firstly, after our usual morning assembly, we had a play put up by ACT 3 about mediation... Talking about that, it reminds me of Potato trying to be the middleman between Cheese and Me... haha...

The play was nice and they had this EMAL song that is quite funny. Most of the students attention were surprisingly channelled to them... We hardly see that great interest from students of Nan Hua.

Next, we procceeded to class for about half an hour and we played murderer. It was quite an ok game as I got chosen to be the murderer first. After that, we had our recess and very quickly set off for our trip to the NEWater plant in Bedok...

Now...here is the exciting part so readers please open your eyes wide enough to see my words... so TM and my class were together when we went to the trip and since it's a NEWater tour, the ppl there will definitely give us free bottles of them... Here's the catch:

Yz and Dawn were asked to sit down and when they did that, Yz saw P... SO Yz wanted to change place so she could get a better sight of P who is now right in front of her. Then, when everyone is passing bottles around, P passed it to Yz and she was elated. Soon after, she did not let anyone to touch that bottle except so unfortunate incidents when I got to poke it. haha!!!

Did anyone wonder why Yz take interest on P so suddenly?? Well, this is because P has the same role as D. from xenbar (some should know wat's the role). So that's what i've got to say... more details pls ask yz perconally... hehehehehehe

Then we had lunch after the NEWater trip and half and hour after that, we were dismissed... we waited for about half and hr for the commander of sec 2s and went to TM's house later in the afternoon...

OoOo... this is getting too long and wordy...shall cut the crap ...

It's only 2 weeks away to the big day... hizz

Today we went down and yu zhu did not turn up again. She said that here mum stopped her from going. Don't know whether it is true or not. Anyway, our teacher did quite abit today by polishing our moves to the most tiny details. I think she wants to do that as in the other parts of the music, we would be doing some "stunts". They can be turns, jumps or even salsa (hehe). I'm looking forward to that part but we have to coordinate those parts.

We are going down this thurs again to practice. Hopefully we can at least complete the whole dance so we can dance non-stop throughout without loopholes in between. Our theme for the dances seems to gradually turn into some sort of Egyptian one. Haha... All thks to me... Buffa... who kept doing those snake moves when ever the teacher is thinking of new moves. Thus, she got the "GREAT" inspiration from me. hehe...

Last Saturday's salsa was quite nice. We did the sexy titanic thingy again, but the whole move is not like the one that we learnt before. Anyway, Dawn and I had "wonderful" endings after our individual dances (on eshould know if you were there). It was so funny loh... I just don't get how you stretch you hands out in time to get your support??!!!

Anyway, let's buck up for the pulse com and try to get into the finals at least...

Things are sure getting fruity around here...

At last the relaxed days are here but they will definitely not last long. Today, i got back several papers. They are relatively well.

Yae... tomor we are going to xenbar to have practice unless we don't want to make a fool of ourselves on the DAY. We are still pondering about the wear which is so hard to decide.

Last Sat was a horror... I had a full 4 hrs Chinese business exam they comprises of: oral, listening, writing and paper. It was indeed horrible...

After that went to xenbar and missed hip hop (so depressing). Heard that there were some new ppl that joined. Needless to say, salsa was absolutely horrendous...(some should know) especially those who were laughing contineously. Shucks!!! So super embarressing

Finally the EOYS are over and it's time to partYY...

The overall of the papers are quite average except Chinese and Physics (tm's teacher who set aka spy according to dawn and yz). This 2 are real killers. However, I am not implying that i will do excellent in the other subjects. Amazingly, both A. and E. maths did not turn out to be such a terror. I was quite afraid about the 2 papers. At last, i can score a better mark for them and hopefully this gives a new start to my maths, without my grades dropping.

Tomor we'll be going to Orchard area. So any you readers read this may spot us at the vicinity... I shall go and buy a new pair of ballet shoes and still thinking if I should invest in a pair of dance sneakers. Maybe, I shall ask someone to sponser since it's quite ex. hehe...

Dawn's mum can be quite an evil person at times. I just don't get why she gets angry at Dawn more than Dawn's sis. Then, when ever this quarrel happens, Dawn is always forbiddened to go out or something till her mum's mood gets better. Isn't this bias... well i know it sounds a little social studies to use bias... but tat's the word.

Hopefully, I will hear good news from Dawn tomor morning...

Mmm... today is not a really nice Sunday.

Today is for me to slog hard for the next 4 days of the exams. I had 4 papers last thur and Fri and i still have 6 more to go. Tomor will be e math paper 2 and Chi. This 2 papaers are my least favourite. I dislike doing math and I don't really take interest in doing Chinese.

Well.... thinking on the brighter side, at 11 am this coming thurs, I am able to have fun!!! This also indirectly signifies the end of year 2006. Time really flies. Well... during the studying phrase it's ok to let time fly really fast, but i don't want this to happen when i hit 20s.

It will be so nice to enjoy the new found "freedom" (some would consider) or independence at that age. I really look forward to that. Many things will happen then and I get to travel and do or study the things i like. ...
