I like the costume. The match those sports bra with basketball pants. Normally we wouldnt think of using those pants that you see so often in school to dance right. Instead, I think the overall look is cool. Moreover, the girls extended all their hair to the same length which makes it more funky.

Finally Term 2 comes to an end and here comes the long-awaited JUNE break.

Today was a scribbling day for me. I had 2 essay exams namely GP and Econs. Econs was the scary one. We had only 50 mins to rush out 2 essays. However, what made me nervous throughout the test was when Ms Wong keep informing us of the time. Ha I remember when she said u have 5mins for the first part and should be starting the next, I kind of freaked out cause i haven't written my conclusion. Subsequently, my left hand start rebelling. I felt weak and I cant seem to write fast. So I skipped the conclusion and embarked on the next part. It was easier to do part b since it tests us on theory of Demand and Supply (if i didn't interprete the question wrongly). Thus, I had about 10 minutes in the end to touch up my essays and finish up my conclusion.

Studies aside. Now what's some activities line up to pamper myself for I think this is the only long enjoyable hols I'm going to have. This Dec hols will be full of studying in preparation for the A Levels.

FIRSTLY, Potato and I are going to take part in the Justin Timberlake and Madonna impersonation competition held at The Heeren. There are going to be 2 segments: Acting or performing. Of course we are going to choose the latter. Do come down to support us (especially your screams haha). I think the prelims is on the 7th June a Saturday. I'm sure those out there will be going out with friends or their loved ones. So make a trip down to The Heeren too to see the competition.

NEXT, this June break is also the Singapore Arts Festival. Sadly, this year's fest isn't as interesting as last year's. Last year, I heard from Dawn that there were salsa, tango etc lessons held at the Esplanade. However, there is none this year. Such a spoiler. The only interesting one is a break-dancing workshop by some Korean b-boys.

FOLLOWING, it's also today's the opening of the GREAT SPORE SALES. Hope that I can buy some nice clothes.

Found the video of our performance on Sat for Mother's Day. It really sucked. The video was cut off towards the end. haha and my solo was not recorded as a result. However, I wished the camera would stop recording earlier so my mistake towards the end will be earsed. hizz...

The hectic days are over now.

Last night was one eventful Talentime. I was there later so I managed to sit in to watch part of ther rehearsal from an audience point of view. When our group came out to dance, all of them werent smiling. ha... esp Isabelle. She was the fiercest.hehe.

That was the one and only rehearsal and it was costume changing and making up time. YES...finally, qian yong was for once not a chinese-looking dancer. Moreover she looks cooler than ever.

Then of course there was this comical part where our dance teacher tried to draw all our eyebrows. Drawing them is fine. BUT imagine darking it till it's like those make-up for chinese dance, where the faces of the dancers look like dolls. YUKES. So, Buffa, I decided to play hide-and-seek with the teacher. And I was successful at avoiding her.

Things gets heated up when the concert starts. Everything fell into place after that. In the blink of an eye it was the results announcement.

Crank ended up with a SECOND, while our seniors received first with covered windows or the SC with third.

My feelings about the results:
OVERWHEMLING.SHOCKED.UNEXPECTED

Nevertheless, this is the first JJ memory for me. One that is unforgetable.

Random: Today is Mother's Day and I will be performing at Singapore Sky Flyer. Come support me if you can. ha... It's some carnival to celebrate mothers's day. Also, it's a wear purple and pink competition. So if you are coming down, get dressed in that colour.

Another week has flew by. Andddd it's the JJ Talentime tomorrow!! Please catch the wonderful superb BUFFA then at NTU Auditorium, dancing with the cool undeafeatable dance crew, CRANK. Also, while enjoying our performances especially those who are going. Remember to vote for our team. OKIE...

Anyway, after this hectic weekend. I finally get to settle down and start my proper studying again. Well, I have to catch up on my tutorials and lectures. However, the frequent dance practises will be cut back to once a week. Which means I dont get to see my dance friends so often anymore. So sad.

Today and on Wednesday, we headed down to NTU for dance rehearsal. It was fun there. The floor was great. Neither slippery like in Xen nor rough in JJ's dance studio. What's more, the best thing is that the air-conditioner is so strong that I can dance forever and dont really sweat that much. The backstage is my favourite spot. The place is big and I have loads of room to spin. haha...Dawnn read that. Almost did a triple spin but stumbled on the third turn.

I'll be looking forward to tomrrow. And CRANK have to beat the rest and be the best. Sounds so tougue-twister.

Looking at Tan min's blog, I feel soooo jealous. I wished I were there on Wed when they went to Sentosa. Although it's a 4/5 outing, i think it's a great time to catch up with my 2/9 friends IF i went. Hizz...

And of course, today i'm meeting up with my beloved potato to do HANDSTANDS. hahahaha... I can foresee myself giggling uncontrollably when i turn upside down. Well, I guess it's due to the rush of blood towards my head.

Our venue for the day would be at ACTFA's NEW DANCING SCHOOL in REDHILL. Yay!! I really want to see how big and magnificent the place is. They said the 2 dance floors are 10 times the size of the current one in Chinatown. We can start jumping around like fools then. ha

Next Sunday is Mother's Day. Children out there, have you pick a gift for your mum?? NO??!!! Then better be quick. It's a week's time away.

School passes fast these days. And I realize keeping awake in during lectures is becoming a tedious task to achieve. According to Dawn, she said Judy said she always saw me sleeping whenever she turns her head towards me. See....I'm such a sleepy head.

Dance in school is getting very sickening. Even so, I won't quit it as it will be my entry ticket to a dance cca in university esp NUS. Their dance groups are so cool. Be it the hip hop, ballet or the mixed-breed. All 3 forms are wonderful. Of course i prefer the hip hop and mixed-breed one. I certainty do not want to do ballet all the way.

Talking about that, sometimes, I realize when my ballet teacher teaches a new move and I try doing it. It looks so hip hopish. Ha... And very often teacher always say i'm all over the place. Looks like i'm not cut out to be a graceful swan but rather a rugged hip hopper.

Dawn and my next aim is come out with a PURE SALSA ROUTINE. The emphasized part here is PURE. Which means there will not be any tinch of hip hop style in it. Well, maybe a little, but not much.

Why?? That's because people who goes to XEN or should be now be known as ACTFA, think we are hip hoppers. However, we dont really want to be termed as that. We want to let them know that we do salsa too. hehe... So we have to come out with an exciting salsa routine.
