title: Guzheng results out
date: Thursday, November 30, 2006
time:8:01 PM
Whew... the battle is over and I the results are out...

Today, it is my Grade 6 Guzheng exams. Second time taking the test at NUS. I was second to enter the exam room between by 3 other relative: brother(grade 2) and small aunt(grade 6, same as me).

Due to the fact that my teacher aka Grandaunt, was a Guzheng teacher there, she got the privilege to take a look at the results. Actually after seeing them, she wasn't allowed to let the cat out of the bag.

However, the secret leaked and 3 of us got a distinction.... Of course I got the lowest among the 3 of them.I scored 88 over 100 wherelse my small aunt got a 90 and my bro got a 93...

Why I scored the lowest...: No. 1 ~~ I did not really work hard enough. No 2.~~ I am not so committed to Guzheng as compared to Dance. No. 3.~~ I am so busy all the time... dono whats the holis for???

In conclusion, Dionne loves Dance... it's my passion ... I willing to use my time for it and I will not give up even a glimpse of hope to allow my dance passion to excel on... ...

Well... according to wild demands, I shall blog about YY...

What is my impression of him, in terms of languabe usage and intelligence, it's obvious that is English has improved alot as seen from his blog that is bombarded with bombastic words which sometimes I don't even understand. Claps claps* Next, I heard from him that his L1R5 for EOY was about 10 which is so good...

Now, his character, YY is improving in his attitude over time (concluded by Terrance and I). As a result, more ppl are having a better impression on him. On top of that, he is very efficient in his department that is Logistics.

Well...that is quite a short write-up on YY. Hmm...I shall touch upon today's programmes...

Today, I went to my grandaunt's house to play Guzheng to prepare for tomor's exam. Anyway, I got a dressing down as usual as I did not put in enough effort to practice (even Potato agrees.. haha).

After that, I left at 12pm after 2 hrs of practise to go to school for KOTO remidial. To think that, the lesson was not complusory when Amanda said it was (I don't friend her already)..hehe...

Next, I stayed in sch untill 4 plus. Midway, Tm and amanda left so secretively with some of the guys and when I asked her where was she going,Tm just somewhat ignore my question and said something about backstage which I don't really get her...

So I met Dawn at Clementi station and we went to Orchard, Thumper for Shine lesson. It was somewhat like a private class as only Dawn and I and Nancy attended that class. However, Nancy left shortly as she seemed abit uninterested. However, it was kind of her to get a jug of water which I need badly due to my sorethroat.

Then, after Shine, we did hip hop since I will be missing alot during my NCO weeks.

Aaaa.... tell me how to do a perfect split jump which means, jumping high into the air whislt doing a graceful yet forceful split. I must master...I must master...

After that the skeleton couple taught basic salsa through a microphone and there was this Ang Moh guy that was super attention seeking. Nancy said to Dawn and I that we should join the lesson as there are many cute guys... haha... and one of them was that Ang Moh guy...EMAL...

Later on, due to time constraints, we did not stay for abotu an hr longer to enjoy the new atmosphere...Thumper...

So I shall give a short describtion of the place:
It is actually on of the largest pub in spore and it is situated at Good Wood Park Hotel, next to Far East Plaza. At first when Dawn and I reached there, we took a peek and the area was so dark. It was kinda scary. But later when the teacher came, and we started dancing, it turned out to be quite fun except the lack of mirrors which are always available in Xenbar. There was a real professional wine mixer staff and so-called waiters aronund. How I wish I would stay longer just now...

Oh.. some good news to share. I somewhat mastered the on-two salsa step as a guy and it was nice. I got to be the guy, leading Dawn, the girl.

Well.. a real long post this is... happy reading...

hi everyone... I just came back from my 3 day camp yesterday and slept for a whole 11 hours straight after my dinner the previous night...

On the whole, I think the camp rocks as it intersting...and fun too. I have somehow or another merge into an admin cum logistics-coordinator throughout the camp... Maybe the admin department has mixed too much with the logist ppl. haha

Anyway, I was searching the websites for the Chingay knock-out winners and find the on the net and they are really good... dancing in all sorts of places and competitions... really envy them. On the other hand, these ppl have so much time...(get what I'm trying to say??)

I also found a link to the movie STEP UP (it's so nice and nice and NICE) I really love the female lead. She's so versatile and the male hip hopper is cool too.

Here, enjoy the show:

Phew...

Whate a busy week it has become... my holidays are not excatly vacations to relax and have fun. Instead, I have been spending lots of my days in sch doing my CCA stuff. Then on thur I had some tuition marathon or something...It was chi plus gu zheng followed by Eng... And when it was all over, I had to do my NCO admin stuff...while i was doing them, my eyes were half closed.Haha...

Today, a day to finally rest but tm, Dawn, jh and I went to Orchard to watch STEP UP. Woaa...it really nice. The female lead is such a good dance with so many beautiful lines and arches... wish I could be her.

After that, we walked for about an hour around Orchard...We are actually getting a little sick of the place. haha

Went home and nothing much happened then...

Oh yes...I bought a book FOOD AS MEDICINE...it rocks and I luv it. It provides detail info about nutrition... it's so captivating haha...

Heys...

It's less than a week to our NHH Annual Camp. It's going to be fun especially the ... ... can't let the cat out of the bag...

Anyway, our sec 3 squad has done alot for this camp. It's going to be interesting too !!!!

Yesterday, I went to school at 10 am and we had our SJ meeting and to clear up the final touches to the camp. After that I took bus 188 to Harbourfront. The ride was quite fast unlike what I expected whereby it will be slow. Over there, I met my mum at Vivo City. The place is really croweded, packed with ppl. Wat's more, it's a monday....

We walked around the area and I realized that a whole lot more shops were opened as compared to last time when I went about a mth ago. There was the "Candy Empire" which is not as gigantic as I wanted it to be but they claimed that it is the largest in S'pore for the timr being. We picked some chocolates and got a strip of super sour sweet for my brother.

So... my mum and I procceeded to the clothes shops. There were numerous high-end stores like Forever 21, Guess, Tangs, Esprit, Zara etc.

After about 2 hrs of walking non-stop, it was about 5 and my mum brought be to this expensive fast food reasturant which are know for their hotdog buns. One hotdog bun alone range from price $3 to $6. This is not inclusive of drinks and fries. You can see how ex the food is. Moreover, the hotdog bun is not exactly that big in size. Just that their hotdog is much bigger that's all.

I said goodbye to my mum and went to chinatown to meet Dawn. She was punctual at last for once. We learnt Afro Cuba second part and some new shines which are quite awkward looking. It like the afro cuban...it's very different from hip hop for salsa. it has this African style I guess judging from it's name. Anyway... DAWN please don't look so troubled... Hello this is ur first lesson ok.... Try harded next time and think throught the steps. You can master it.

title: "Interesting" Day

hmmm... ...

Yesterday, I had an innteresting ride in Dawn's car by her mum. First, we left Dawn's house for Clementi MRT to drop us. But then her mum realised that everyone was going to town so she offered to send us to xenbar after picking up Dawn's sis at NUS. However, her mum did a wrong turn which was too early and headed for West Coast instead and had to U-turn back. After that using the in-built computerized navigator, she too a whole big loop round some HDB flats and finally turned into the right avenue to NUS. Over there, we fetched Dawn's sis and headed for xenbar at Chinatown with the help of the stupid computer. It gave a super long route to follow which was by the West Coast route towards Alexander road that area... then into City Hall district that area where Chjimes, a resturant there. After that she drove back to Outrum where NUH is and to Clarke Quay and back to chinatown at last after a whole enormous loop that lasted for 15 mins. I remembered one Monday when my dad fetched me to xenbar, we bypassed Chjimes and from there, took only 5 mins to reach xenbar...

The moral of the story: Know Singapore at your fingers and don't rely on computers.

At Xenbar, we did on twos instead of on ones... which i don't get it till now... Anyway, I just follow not lead... Yae, did a 13 rounds of continuous spinning without stopping (thanks to scratching guy...his really good...unlike cheese). When I agreed to let him spin me, he was like so overly enthu or something that within 5 spins, I lost balance...

Annual camp is coming, I a great program is installed for us (well maybe the juniors since the seniors know the programs already)... But there is sure onr fun thing that I look forward to in the camp, that is a mass dance that we have to dance... cool right...

title: Bowling
date: Friday, November 03, 2006

hizz...

some stupid computer problem cropped up and wiped out my whole blog post. Now i'm too lazy to retype so I just continue from where I stopped.

So the 6 of us went bowling after our civil defense course. We decided upon Chervons we waitted for some bus no. 188 which came after 15 minutes when actually we could have reached our destination in abt 10 mins with a more frquent bus. Don't know whose idea it was.

Finally we reached the bus stop and alighted. YY, TM and I were discussing abt WWF... ... It was quite lame. YY was the one who came up with the short terms WWS but I changed it to WWF (which can represent the wrestling game on TV too).

We played one game each and I came second last in the end with a miserable 40 plus point. Of course the top ppl were quite high too, with YH getting 90 over 300... hehe. P is so action just like my brother. TM should know... ...

After that we bid our goodbyes to YH, Elyas and Haoguang and left for JEC. Tm and YY ate Long John's Silvers while I just bought a packet of small fries as I still have dinner at home. We chatted after they finished their food, mostly abt JC. YY made it sound as if all the JCs are so lousy or too "ex"...

Anyway, I will reaffirm by decision only after I see my results. There's no point to think so far ahead.

Later having Guzheng practice... can you believe it... my exam is one the last day of this mth and I just started my songs only this week... Hopefully I can pass this exam. Yae... another cert will be coming my way...
