title: China trip
date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007

My blog is getting so dead. First is because of my laziness second is that our house computer is spoilt so i have to wait till my mum comes home so i can use her office laptop. This is such a trouble.

Anyway, I just came back from China last Friday and had a partial dance madness on Saturday.

Some memorable things worth remembering about China is that on the day before we came home, I saw snow for the first time. Though it maay not be as exciting to some since they have seen it many times, it's my first time. So i am happy.

Another was that i got to swim everyday. The pool in our hotel was an indoor one so Caleb and I made full use of their facilities.

Some points not worth remembering is that in China, people spit phlegm like no one's business. Every moment i can heard the sound of that urges the phlegm out of their throat. YUCKS!! If you look down on the road, you will see the numerous splats.

Another point is that the people there are not friendly at all. There was this China woman asking another China woman for directions and she just push her away without even listening to her. How irritating. Also, it's a norm to get pushed aside if you are in the way of someone, as well as being cut when queueing up.

Saturday, was a partial dance madness. Why i say partial? It's because i kind of stoned in xen from 2 to like 5 watching the semi-pro people practising. Luckily Dawn came like for a spilt moment and we did our dance for like thrice before she disappeared back to church.

At least i was not bored to death since one of my friend came for hiphop so i had a nice time introducing him about xen and the stuff. Basic salsa was super miserable at the start. There was only one Indian guy dancing. Looks like terrance was giving a private lesson. ha...

After that, it grew in number but in such a way that there were only 2 girls : me and another one. The situation was dumb but it was not as bad in intermediate. Terrance spent the next one hour in inter just to teach one variation of touch and go. The speed was slow but i got my share of practising my double spins. Argh... they are getting lousier. I realise that this year's dance isn't as intensive as last year's.

And finally, I get to have social madness. It's been a long time that i socialed continuously without stopping. I think it's the first in this year. Haha... though they made my legs ache, it feels fulfilling.

Yesterday I had a 6A gathering at jp after I when to city hall with my mum and brother. The ambience was strange and uncomfortable. I didn't feel like myself there. I guess it takes me time to get comfortable with people. Look's like i am a SHY person. haha..

Anyway, we spent and hour in the arcade followed by a moive(the golden compass). The show had a dumb ending. It doesn't conclude the movie.

Today, i stayed at home to sleep and watch my cd drama. I think i am falling sick. How nice. Blocknose, running nose, sore throat and cough. Maybe fever is up next. They always come at the wrong time.

Wee...
