title: Ballet Under the Rain Last Friday jj dance watched ballet under the stars at fort canning park. It was supposed to be a farewell party for our seniors too. Sadly, only 9 juniors turned up to "send off" the 10 seniors who came for the outing.
The evening started off unpleasant too with the sky grey as though it wanted to rain. Yes, it did rain but it was just heavy drizzle. It was irritating. As we turned up at the park early, with the drizzle continuing, we had pinic under the rain. I brought fried sausage, sotong balls, crabsticks etc., lovely ronald spread tuna bread for us. Aww..so sweet. And pearly got the utensils ready. Thus, I took pictures as others were eating. I rate the show okie. Since I dont really take interest in watching ballet recitals. I rather watch Hip hop com or maybe salsa shines etc. Wee... |

title: Trilympics Long time no see my dearest blog.
Let's see... these few weeks were packed with lots of test ranging from mini quizzes to serious commontests all else known as the mid years. Thus, my apologises for not blogging. The recent Saturday that just passed was actually our JJ Trilympics in collaboration with SMU. So, Crank was down for performances. I was rather freaked out since our strength of 10 had shrunk to 6, with Arthur backing out the day before and Qian Yong and Isabella out for certain reasons and Benedict who had dragon-boating but arrived timely to see us dance. How nice... We had to rush out and alter our choreography to fit to a 6 man product and we finally did it. Yippee... We had the edited Crank dance recorded down by our teachers too so i hope to get it soon and be able to see the wonderful work. SMU supposed to bring in their Hip hop crew to perform for the occasion. However, I think they were replaced by their cheer-lead group. The girls in the group were superbly small-sized. Here's a picture while rehearsing where a guy does a 1-arm lift on the girl which is quite a feat since their counterparts were cheering when he managed to do that. After that, my family went to Vivo City to have dinner and shop. There was some bag sales and my mum wanted us to choose any to buy, but we saw nothing nice. Dinner was at some expensive Japanese restaurant. I had a fried beef with onion set. It was Delicious. We strolled along the shops and I saw another restaurant, Carnivore. It's name is rather disgusting and so i took a photo of the menu of dishes it serves. Squint your eyes people. To end off, here's a picture for entertainment sake. Wee... |

title: A chance I shall pronounce today a MIRACLE day. I am feeling really happy at the moment *over the moon*.
Dawn and I tried the hip hop 1 class today at dancepointe at tamah jurong by jacky who's sooo good. By the way, he leaves behind a trail of Mandy. Both ex-NUS dance blast dancers. And so the choreography was to a song which i had quite long ago. And of course there is some popping here and there, also, as requests by some of the students there. I realised that students in his class like him as a teacher. Quoted by the receptionist, his classes are growing so they have expanded to Jurong too. And from Zhi Xin, who joined the class for the first time today on top of her jazz class, the students followed his style of dressing too. haha... Anyway, back to the point to why i am so really overjoyed. We got offered to be trained under him with others and soon after to compete as a crew or somthing outside. And the location will be the danccepinte and jurong west which is at my house. Yippee... Oh well, Dawn has to travel further but I think she's fine with that for her chance of doing hip hop purely is drawing closer. Am I right Dawn?? This is a steeping stone to real proper dancing. The opportunity of a lifetime is hard to come by. I'm feeling rather touched. Ha..overwhelmed by feelings... Wee... |

title: Sex in the City In JJ, it is not homework that piles you up. Instead it is the myriad of tests that suffocates you. Luckily and fortunate we are that next week, there isn't a single test one. yippee...
However, we can't be too gleeful about it as the following week awaits with econs, chem, GP common and lecture tests. We, JJ,students can never get enough of these wonderful tests, can't we?! Anyway, my mum came back from China a feel days ago and bought lots of CD especially hong Kong and Taiwan serials. An of course, my dearest Judy, you get to pick one or two to watch at a time. haha.. I watched Sex in the City which supposedly meant for someone else. still i just watched it since the Dvd is non-rivalry. ha. Wooaa...it's pretty loads with s** scenes here and there. It feels wierd. ha. No wonder it is m18 on the cinema. Come to think of it, I just less than half a year to being 18. Still, if you were to ask me out to watch such shows when i am legal enough, I will feel a bit uncomfortable. ha... Poor Dawn got stopped by her Dad when she ATTEMPTED to watch the show. Tomorrow, I will be going down to Judy's house. Yay.. it's really like an impromptu gathering at her house. Well, not really like a gathering since only Dawn, Amirah and I or maybe hanlyn will be there. We just wanted to use her space to dance that's all. After that, Dawn and I shall proceed on to Dancepointe for a Hip hop level 2 class at tamah jurong by this dance instructor who was from NUS Danceblast team. Isnt it cool? Oh well, we'll soon see their standard there. Will it be like O school, the one Dawn went with amanda only last Monday? After tomorrow, it's back to studying AGAIN and the next holidays to look forward to is the National Day which is still SO far away. Till then. Wee... |
